WRITER'S DILEMMA
WRITER’S DILEMMA
Each stroke of pen author silently sighs,
pressure, hours, days, weeks, months, time flies,
stimulated mentally, constant challenges,
guts, determination, instinctively emerges.
Theme follows
theme, but structure required,
editing exhausting, patience expired,
seek professional
opinion - news good or bad,
years of stress, await analysis, - elated or sad.
Poetic Rhythm:
Poets create own genre, challenge supreme,
their heart, mind, fulfilled, a glorious dream,
self-gratification each poem, one’s major goal
unless an eulogy for deceased friendly soul.
