Climate control a global discussion,

countries decisive on investigation,

weather, research minimal in days of yore,

daily dispersed pleasure, or unpleasant chore.

 

Past gens failed to highlight extremes,

media did not portray alarming themes,

today courageous journalists venture forth,

report climatic disasters, east, west, south, north.

World news viewed twenty-four seven,

depicting desolation of specific mayhem,

lives shattered by fires, floods, tornadoes,

plus, fierce gales, tropical cyclones, 

 

Rustling leaves dissipate with vegetation,

jungles, forests, suffer poignant devastation,

foliage destroyed, hazardous for humans and beasts,

UN must mandate scientific measures, at least!
