Human Tsunami
Human Tsunami
Aged eyes hooded, grasps quill, as though no tomorrow
regrets beliefs of old dogma, creating grief, sin, sorrow.
Racist in cyberspace incite lies, innuendoes,
night, day, virulent violence, hate, follows.
Global masses manipulated, fodder for zealots, greed,
power by birth, uniforms, prey on colour, culture, creed.
Ignorance is not bliss, this fragile dysfunctional world,
equality denied, males' insecurities become unfurled.
Female gender determined, strive for parity,
forge forward but even stumble in a democracy.
We seek forgiveness Samaritans, of goodwill and kind
daily caring, sharing, harmonious survival all mankind.
