On planet earth time was not all about me,

unforeseen diagnosis, stated what will be,

down memory lane, creative, passionate lifestyle

noted, harmonious farewell placed on file.

 

Family contributed, sensitively involved,

prepared, heartaches personally solved,

traumatic existence put to rest,

difficult decision, but realistic test.

 

In one’s lifetime not a celebrated stage,

positive solution acceptable for this age,

deliberated over prolonged extended time,

formal objections legitimate, deletes a crime.

 

Hindsight, if only, recurring theme,

lament typical of this very sad scene.
