Life's odyssey proceeds, but will diminish,

sadly, creative activities swiftly finish,

however, one's mind yearns to dream

acceptance of realism, persistent theme.

Traditionally we praised a sage

based on historical adage,

through knowledge from days of yore,

today, electronics replace past mentor.

Phones, computers, child to adult

daily journey controlled as a result,

data gained both via audio, screen

reading books by young, rarely seen.

Technology now influences lifestyles, 

as robotic psychology intrudes profiles,

addiction challenges mental health

whether social media or creating wealth.

Globally time flies, day by day, year by year,

imagine our survival in any hemisphere!
