The Perilous Pandemic

 

                              The Perilous Pandemic 2020                             

Mother Nature, globally censures coronavirus,

world pandemic, catastrophic, blatantly serious.

 

Hour by hour, day by day, sadly, victims multiply,

countries, enforce lockdowns, but how many will die?

 

Mankind, isolation prevalent, due to this threat,

commerce collapses, unemployment, debt!

 

Governments try to appease, with financial aid,

yet taxes can ill-afford, to ensure all be paid.

 

Generations face diabolical deficits of trillions,

lifestyle standards reduced as in depressions.

 

Corona can disrupt one's own evolution,

while populous suffer a grim situation.

 

Citizens world-wide, regardless of language barriers

publicize meaning of discipline, common sense, manners.

 

Today is not all about me, together we must prepare,

Mother Earth implores society, to care and share.
