Superb sparkling sunshine, highlights horizon

ship’s picturesque portrait, virtually frozen,

water shimmers, bright blue sky, crystal clear

surging waves gain momentum, swiftly appear.

 

Foaming crests thunder towards shore,

surfers eagerly await pounding rolling roar,

walkers stride, exercising metatarsals, knees,

smooth sand, while strand foliage dances in breeze.

 

Surf recedes, white bubbles, create silky sand,

bare feet imprints, indicate healthy trend,

relax, where fishing fleet enter daily by dawn,

on board, relishing fresh fish, king-size prawn.

 

Apartment deck at sunset, cocktails, overlooking bay,

precursor before such a succulent catch of the day.

 

OH, what a feeling!
