Reddish sky glows, fades from sight,

 mountains once vibrant, murky, dim light,

 lush valleys, shades of greens, hours before,

 tranquillity pierced, freight train's familiar roar.

 

 High beams dance like fireflies on roads

 cars buzzing bees, fortunately not toads,

 dreams, thoughts, gaiety, champers at dusk

 eight close friends, Chinese numeral for luck.

 

 Toast Wills marriage to beautiful Kate

 regardless, culture, colour, creed, celebrate.

 

 “PINKY the commoner”.
