Life’s journey positive, created instant flair,

passionate spirit, fulfilled share and care.

 

Our loved one, lay prostrate in bed

night, day, family grieve, tears shed,

eyes closed, ashen, patient gasps for breath,

family compassionate, desire swift death.

 

Doctor eases pain injects morphine,

to die desirous, an emotional scene,

Switzerland specialises, a dignified solution,

Australia still restrains heartfelt termination.

 

What cold hearted human, denies finality?

Obviously, never challenged, by friend or family.
