THE INFERNO

 

                                      THE INFERNO

 

Spontaneous greeting, swiftly captivated

locking piercing eyes, uncannily stimulated,

high cheek bones, crimson lips, sparkling teeth,

attraction physical, mental, beyond his bold belief.

 

Her initial intuitive words so profound,

caught unawares, he did not utter a sound,

factually, mentally in state of shock,

had she triggered his heart to unlock.

 

How to describe such an emotional feeling,

imagine struck by bolts of lightning,

without hesitation gently took her hand

crossed to dance floor, and fabulous band.

 

Clasped as one, in rhythm, glided

together, indicative of what they aspired,

melodies, lyrics, depict specific desire,

magnitude, an inferno from a volcanic fire.
