                                                           TODAY’S STROLL

 

Vivid blue sky refreshing summer breeze,

hot sun, walk in shade under blooming trees,

vista of colourful plants, residents joy,

home gardens, passers-by also enjoy.

 

Bevy of beauty absorbed, in clear fresh air,

adorable Moodle on lead, unaware,

sniffs inquisitively, pees, we chat away,

our steps keenly monitored, per day.

 

Stroll round fertile park, Tilly runs free

with a personal tryst each tree,

then ventures forth sniffs patches of turf,

we enthralled, by nature, on Mother Earth.
