                                  Winter Winds

                                     Discriminate!

                                       

Temperatures north, south, of equator,

walking dogs, cool breeze, major factor,

one observes folk garbed for the cold,

but mode of dress varies, young to old.

 

Whether on a street, foreshore, park,

common sense prevails before we embark,

aged don beanie, scarf, puffer jacket, pants,

envy youth, in t/shirts, shorts, striding past.

 

As we age our metabolism does dissipate,

crucial organs decline at persistent rate,

strolling, pacing out, engulfing nontoxic air,

daily set forth for health, with care.

 

Overall relax, enjoy number of steps per day,

one's body benefits, keeping challenges at bay.
